At Flaming Yeats Consulting (FYC), we see leadership through a lens of social justice consciousness. We take this idea a step further by queering leadership. While “queering” is often understood as disrupting traditional gender and sex norms, we define queering leadership more expansively—as a way of reimagining how we lead, relate, and organize. By queering leadership, we challenge conventional structures, open new pathways for collaboration, and create space for more liberated and impactful leadership. 

 

We center shared power and generative dialogue to bring more voices into the conversation, transform conflict, and unlock collective creativity. When people are empowered to lead at their best—and systems are aligned to support that leadership—whole organizations evolve, generating more just, connected, and impactful outcomes. This process frees individuals, teams, and organizations from limiting norms and helps unlock their full potential.

 

Lindsay Flaming Yeats

is a leadership consultant and coach, specializing in the human side of development. Lindsay is at her best listening intently to clients and teams to help them mobilize their internal resources to maximize potential. Her perspective is informed by years of leadership and development experience in tech, healthcare, education, hospitality, and the nonprofit sector. She holds a master’s degree from Pepperdine University in Organization Development.

 

Susan Flaming Yeats 

is a leadership consultant and embodiment researcher. Susan is at her best connecting leader and team dynamics with research to partner with clients on effective solutions. She has held executive leadership positions in healthcare and academia. She works part-time as a family nurse practitioner, where she focuses on health equity. She holds master’s degrees in sociology and nursing, and a PhD in Leadership Studies from University of San Diego.
